Bridgewater

Bridgewater (fictional movie) – created primarily for my final project in Motion Design. The project involved creating: a visual narrative for an existing or upcoming movie. However, I didn’t find any of the upcoming films inspiring at the time, so I wrote my own script. I’m a big fan of crime films, so I was eager to dip my toe in the title sequencing world starting with ‘Bridgewater.’

Upon receiving this project, I was initially faced with a huge realization – my camera lacked the quality of film I was seeking. So instead of giving up, I decided to take this challenge even further by using strictly my own photography. Locally shot here in Northern Kentucky, as well as my parent’s basement in a small lightbox I crafted. This project took me to places I never thought I would be, all the way from a creepy convent to digging through the local antique mall. I put a lot of hard work into this project and I’m happy where it has ended. You can find the full video and storyboard frames below.
