Declaration

The Declaration Project we received in my first Typography class is something that was very influential in my design techniques. When we were given the project to recreate the Declaration of Independence, I was very nervous. After later finding inspiration from the Octavo 8 movement, I found a new hybrid layout that brought a friendly and fresh look to an old document.
