Infographic

Last semester(FALL 2016) for my Visual Communication I class’s final, we were given the task to make an Infographic. This graphic was to depict a “how to” recipe from start to finish. The images had to be clear and make sense. It also was to be approachable by just about anyone.

For this project I wanted to express my vector skills in full force. I have always grown up liking comic books and enjoyed their style. I took a heavy comic book influence for this project and brought my mother’s cookie recipe to life. Karen’s Crack Cookies, would bridge two of my favorite childhood memories together and help fuel my ambition to tackle this huge 24” X 18” project. I spent countless hours mocking up many vector-illustrations and had a blast doing it.

The response I received the day we turned in this project was nothing short of amazing and has only fueled my illustration qualities further.

Overall, this project really helped me find my own style. I have been doing personal work through an illustration media ever since. This project had opened up a new world of influence.
